Meta Launches 'Imagine Me' Feature That Lets Users Soar In Virtual World

JAKARTA - Meta AI is rolling out a new feature called "Imagine Me" on their various platforms. This feature allows users to make themselves the person they want, from Yesteron to space explorers.

In a post on the blog, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg shows how "Imagine Me." Users simply send messages to Meta AI on platforms like Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Messenger with requests that start with "Imagine me" followed by descriptions of the figures they want, for exampletar or football players.

To start the "Imagine Me" session, users are asked to take three selfies from various angles: front, right, and left. After that, AI will process images and turn users into desired figures, both fiction and non-fiction.

Meta also announced that next month users will get the "Edit with AI" button when sending messages with their software. This feature is expected to include filters, cuts, and more other editing options.

This feature will start available this week and allow users to create images of themselves directly on feeds, stories, comments, and messages on Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Messenger. In addition, WhatsApp users can type "@Metaimareme me" in a chat to show themselves running on the moon thanks to AI.

Not only Meta, Google is also experimenting with AI features for YouTube Shorts which will allow users to simulate AI-based green screen background when recording. This "Dream Screen" feature will allow creators to create videos as if they are at the top of a mountain or on a beautiful seabed.

With "Imagine Me," Meta provides users with more creativity and freedom to transform into various figures in the virtual world, making interactions on social media more attractive and imaginative.
