Arie Kriting Releases Kaka Boss Film Trailer, Story Of Father And Son Relations

Comedian and director Arie Kriting presents the trailer for his latest film, Kaka Boss. This film produced by Imaginari will show a story about family, especially father and son relationships.

The two-minute trailer shows a debt collector known as Kaka Boss struggling in the dark world choosing to change his job to a singer. The trip was not easy because Kaka Boss had to move from the bottom point.

In addition, Kaka Boss also had difficulties because the child felt embarrassed when his school friends found out who the father of his son was.

Kaka Boss tells the story of Ferdinand Omakare (Godfred Orindeod) or Kaka Boss, a thug from Eastern Indonesia who is feared in Jakarta. He is in prison for his actions. After leaving prison, Kaka Boss thought of starting her career as a singer to make her son proud.

"The film 'KAKA BOSS' will be a funny, exciting, heartwarming drama comedy film because it carries a universal and relatable theme," said Arie Kriting as director of the film Kaka Boss.

"In addition, the film will also be wrapped with the strong value of brotherhood from Eastern Indonesia," said Arie Kriting.

This film will be dominated by people from Eastern Indonesia who Arie Kriting wants to convey. He wants Eastern-themed films not always about sadness and social strata but can also display happiness and joy.

We learned from the film 'Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap' that authenticity is important if you want to talk about a certain culture. The difference here is that Arie Kriting does not want to highlight certain ethnicities or ethnicities, but rather wants to emphasize the stronger sense of brotherhood in Eastern Indonesia," said Ernest Prakasa as producer.

This film also stars Glory Hillary, Mamat Alkatiri, Abdur Arsyad, Putri Nere, Teddy Adhitya, Elsa Japasal, Nowela Mikhelia, Ge Pamungkas, to Ernest Prakasa.

Kaka Boss will be shown in Indonesian cinemas starting August 29, 2024.
