There Are Suspicious People, Israeli President And His Group Were Detained On Plane After Landing In Paris
JAKARTA - President Isaac Herzog and his entourage were detained for about 40 minutes on board after landing in Paris, France, because there were suspicious people.
A spokesman for President Herzog told Israeli newspaper Hayom, "the incident is over," but did not provide further details, as quoted by The Times of Israel July 24.
President Herzog and his delegation were allowed to leave their plane at Paris airport, after being held on board for 40 minutes after landing over concerns over security, a spokesman said.
"The president and his delegation have now gone down and resumed the schedule as planned," the spokesman said without providing details of the incident.
Meanwhile, news site Walla reported, a suspicious person was seen on the roof near the plane when President Herzog's entourage landed.

It said President Herzog was in Paris to support the Israeli team at the 2024 Paris Olympics which will open on Friday.
As previously reported, the Isrel contingent will receive 24-hour security during the 2024 Paris Olympics, following threats and calls for Israel not to be included in the war with Hamas in Gaza.
