The Latest Subaru Forester Coming Soon To Indonesia? This Is Subaru's Answer
TANGERANG - The latest generation Subaru Forester was launched globally at the end of last year and officially sold for the United States (US) market earlier this year.
This car experienced a significant overhaul compared to its predecessors with changes from outside to inside, of course it would be a question of whether the car would enter other markets, including Indonesia.
Responding to this, General Manager Marketing & PR Subaru Indonesia Ismail Ashlan said this latest Forester will not arrive in the country in the near future at least not this year.
"Our statement has not yet arrived this year," said Ashlan at the GIIAS 2024 exhibition, at ICE BSD, Tangerang.
He said that his party is currently still selling fifth-generation Foresters, especially since Subaru Indonesia has launched Adventure Edition in this year's edition of the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
"We are still selling those in Indonesia," added Ashlan.

The latest generation of foresters have some changes, ranging from a slimmer exterior design, while retaining the rigidity of its predecessor characteristics.
The front of the vehicle has a thick grip that blends with a compact LED headlights, creating an integrated shield effect. The new fasia also features an updated Subaru star cluster symbol.

The manufacturer also features the safety features of Subaru Starlink Safety and Security, including SOS Emergency Assistance, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification, Maintenance Notifications, Monthly Vehicle Health Report and Diagnostic Alerts, Stole Vehicle Recovery Service, and Vehicle Security Alarm Notification.
In terms of performance, this SUV is powered by a 2.5 liter Boxer engine that produces 180 dk of power and 241 Nm of torque, in collaboration with the CVT Lineartronic transmission which provides soft dental movement.
This auto brand from Japan presents five different trims to this model in uncle sam's country, namely Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Touring from US$31,090 to US$41,390 (Rp504.1 million to Rp671.2 million).
