Consider It Fair To Criticize Anies, PKB Asks Heru Budi Not To Be Baper
JAKARTA - Chairman of the PKB faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Hasbiallah Ilyas, assessed that Anies Baswedan's criticism of the performance of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government during the leadership of the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono was normal.
Anies, according to Hasbi, criticized Heru's current policy for his status as a citizen.
"Pak Anies is an ordinary citizen, now he is a former governor, as an ordinary citizen. It is natural to say that many do not run in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, it is something normal," said Hasbi when contacted, Tuesday, July 23.
The chairman of the DKI Jakarta PKB Regional Leadership Council (DPW) views that Heru does not need to arrest that the criticism is Anies' way of scapegoating him ahead of the 2024 Pilkada.
"It's something ordinary, anyone is criticized is normal. The goal is to be criticized for building, so there is no problem. He (Heru) also doesn't need to be baper," said Hasbi.
Heru, according to Hasbi, made criticism a constructive narrative in order to carry out leadership better. Moreover, a number of current programs of the DKI Provincial Government, especially in the distribution of aid, need to be criticized.
"One example is that there are many cuts that should be even though the local government's budget is sufficient. For example, one of them is KJP, the Elderly Card, at that time it was cut," he explained.
Previously, Anies admitted that he intends to run again as a candidate for the Governor of DKI because he wants to make the condition of Jakarta and its governance as when he was governor for the 2017-2022 period.
"We want that atmosphere back, we want the atmosphere of the provincial government which is full of love for its citizens, the provincial government who sees the people like their own brothers and children, not the provincial government who is stingy with its citizens, not the provincial government that limits the benefits received by its citizens," said Anies, Saturday, July 20.
"Therefore, we will make sure to return all the benefits that were cut. Because of what it is because it must be able to provide benefits to the people here," he added.
Heru responded to this statement. Heru also asked Anies not to make him a scapegoat in seeking public support to run again in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.
"Please compete in the regional elections, but don't scapegoat me," said Heru when met at Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta, Saturday, July 20 evening.
