Not Yet Giving Supporting Recommendations, PKB Asks Anies To Immediately Fit And Proper Test Cagub DKI
General Treasurer of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Bambang Susanto asked Anies Baswedan to immediately conduct a fit and proper test (UKK) as a candidate for Governor of DKI Jakarta.
Although it has been proposed that the PKB DKI Jakarta Regional Leadership Council (DPW) become the governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies has not yet received an official suspension recommendation letter from the PKB Central Executive Board (DPP).
"Pak Anies has not yet been scheduled for UKK. There is no UKK schedule yet, Mr. Anies. So, we hope that soon how intensive communication is, if it is immediately UKK, then UKK immediately," said Bambang at the PKB DPP office, Central Jakarta, Monday, July 22.
Bambang emphasized that the former governor of DKI Jakarta still had to follow the valid registration procedures at the DPP PKB Regional Election Desk even though he had been predicted by the DPW to be a candidate for Governor of DKI Jakarta, which was carried by the party chaired by Muhaimin Iskandar.
"That is limited to the proposal (DPW) submitted to the DPP. But the mechanism for the process stage in the DPP must go through the UKK. Later it must go through the pilkada desk to avoid it and then it is decided. It has not yet arrived there," explained Bambang.
For information, PKB has not issued a recommendation for the investigation to Anies to become the governor of DKI Jakarta. Likewise with the NasDem Party, even though it has announced that it will carry Anies.
Now, only the PKS Central Executive Board (DPP) has declared that it will support Anies as the governor of DKI Jakarta by pairing the Deputy Chairperson of the PKS Syuro Council Sohibul Iman as the cawagub.

Anies Baswedan did not care that until now he had not received an official suspension recommendation from PKB and the NasDem Party. According to Anies, he still has enough time to get a party recommendation so he can run for the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election during the registration period on 27-29 August.
"It's still a long way off. If today's deadline, it might be short. It's still a long time, we're flowing," said Anies at the PKB DPW office, Central Jakarta, Sunday, July 21.
The former governor of DKI Jakarta claims that he is more focused on formulating solutions for the welfare of the people of Jakarta if they officially contest the 2024 Pilkada.
According to Anies, the economic condition in Jakarta is quite burdensome for the community, especially among families with a lower economy.
"The condition is full of challenges. Now that is my focus, that is the main concern, so that we can restore prosperity, can restore progress and restore happiness, hopefully it will be a blessing," he explained.
