PDIP Secretary General Affirms There Is No Stiff In DJKA Case: Written By Consultants Because Of Work First
Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto emphasized that he did not know about the bribery case of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub). He also denied being involved even though he was called a consultant in the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examination schedule.
"Personally, I have nothing to do with this. There is no business. If I am referred to as a consultant, it is indeed on my ID card because I used to work in a state-owned company whose scope was conducting," Hasto told reporters at the PDIP DPP office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Saturday, July 20.
"So I wrote (at the ID card, ed) I haven't changed the consultant until now," he continued.
Although he admitted that he did not know about the DJKA case, Hasto admitted that he was ready to fulfill the investigator's summons. He said he had monitored the statement by the Deputy Secretary General of PDIP, Yoseph Aryo Adhi Dharmo, who claimed to have been questioned by the KPK on Thursday, July 18 in the case.
"Later, I will come because based on information from Wasekjen Adhi Dharmo it is related to the 2019 presidential election where my position at that time was as Secretary of the Winning Team because it was related to someone providing assistance and then it was alleged that this was still being investigated by the KPK (no, ed)," explained Hasto.
"We will attend because from the start we have a very big commitment to law enforcement and eradicating corruption," he said.
