BMW Releases Series-5 Latest Variant And High Type I5 At GIIAS 2024
TANGERANG - BMW Group Indonesia is back at GIIAS 2024 by showing off a number of the latest vehicles, two of which are the 520i M Sport and i5 M60 models.
Managing Director of BMW Group Asia Lars Nielsen, said that the presence of these two types in Indonesia followed the welcome of the latest generation Series-5 in the country.
"We introduce two additional variants, namely 520i M Sport and i5 M60 which have a sporty look," Nielsen said at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Wednesday, July 17.
Different from other variants, BMW 520i M Sport does have a more sporting look with a number of packages such as M Sport Package, M Rear Spoiler, Melek M Aerodynamic 19-inch 936 M Bicolour Black Gray, Dark Blue Metallic M Sport braking, and Iconic Glow kidney grip.
In performance, this latest sedan is equipped with a 4-cylinder engine combined with TwinPower Turbo and mid-hybrid, so that it can produce a maximum power of 190 dk and a torque of 310 Nm.
In collaboration with the transmission of eight accelerations of Steptronic, 520i M Sport was able to run from 0 to 100 km/hour within 8.1 seconds.

Meanwhile, the BMW i5 M60 is one of the highest variants in the electric Series-5 version. This car is given sporty equipment as well as aggressively with 21-inch BMW Individual Aerodynamic Wheels 954 which covers the Red High Gloss M Sport brakes.
Just like other variants, i5 M60 also has a Iconic Glow' grip, but also has an M Specific Diffuser on the back available in some color choices, including Frozen.
This car is armed with electric motors in collaboration with xDrive drivers who can produce 442 kW of power and torques reaching 820 Nm.
With the help of the M Sport Boost and M Launch Control features, i50 M60 is able to run from 0 to 100 km/hour in less than 4 seconds.
BMW 520i M Sport is offered at a price starting at IDR 1.227 billion and is a local assembled. Meanwhile, the i5 M60 model is sold for IDR 2.777 billion. All prices include DKI Jakarta Off The Road.
