JAKARTA - Cyber disruption in Australia Friday, July 19, was caused by a software update made by CrowdStrice, which has a software called CrowdStrike Falcon installed on Windows PCs globally.
This software aims to protect against cyberattacks, including credential theft. However, the update launched earlier this week caused the computer to restart and display a blue screen error message (Blue Screen of Death).
