Turkey's Izmir Airport Closed Due To Forest Fire
A forest fire that occurred in a forest area near Turkey's Izmir airport (Turkiye) forced the airport to be closed and flights were diverted to nearby cities.
This information was conveyed by a low-cost airline Pegasus on Thursday, July 18, quoted by Reuters.
Pegasus said Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport was temporarily closed and flights were diverted to Bodrum Airport, in a statement on social media platform X.
