The Boss Becomes A Suspect In Tin Corruption, 560 Palm Oil Workers In 2 Babel Area Factorys Get JHT Funds
JAKARTA - A total of 560 palm oil mill workers belonging to suspects in tin trade system corruption in Central Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province received Old Age Security (JHT) funds.
"Alhamdulillah, yesterday (July 16) 560 palm oil mill workers received JHT funds," said Central Bangka Regent Algafry Rahman in Pangkalpinang, Wednesday, July 18, confiscated by Antara.
He said 560 workers who received JHT could no longer work, because two palm oil mills belonging to the suspect were corrupt in the trading trade system in Central Bangka were not operating.
"The two factories belonging to the tin corruption suspect were not confiscated by the AGO, but the company's operational accounts were confiscated so that the factory could not operate, which eventually resulted in termination of employment (PHK) at the factory," he said.

He stated that currently 560 employees at the palm oil mill are no longer working and they really hope that the company will resume operations, because of the workers' sources of income.
"Each worker at the palm oil factory has received tens of millions of JHT funds, meaning that to this day they still have savings to meet their daily needs," he said.
According to him, the JHT funds received by palm oil mill workers will certainly run out in the next few months to meet the needs of their families.
"Today there is no ripple from these workers, because they have received JHT funds. However, if the JHT funds have run out, of course there will be more demonstrations from these workers," he said.
