Central Java Pilkada June Survey: Kaesang Unggul Followed By Second Inspector General Ahmad Lutfi

JAKARTA - The Kompas Research and Development survey institute released the electability of figures for the Central Java Pilkada. As a result, PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep is narrowly superior to the Central Java Police Chief, Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi.

"Kaesang, who is also the son of President Joko Widodo, (in the first position) is 7 percent in the open answer model (top of mind)," said the Kompas Research and Development survey, Thursday, July 18.

Meanwhile, the electability of the Central Java Police Chief, Ahmad Luthfi, is in second place with 6.8 percent.

The position below Luthfi is occupied by former Deputy Governor of Central Java Taj Yasin Maimoen with 3.2 percent, artist Raffi Ahmad 2.8 percent, Kendal Regent Dico Ganinduto 2.6 percent, former Central Java Governor Bibit Waluyo 2.4 percent, and former Semarang Mayor Hendrar Prihadi 2 percent.

Meanwhile, a number of other figures whose electability was taken into account ahead of the Central Java Pilkada were the Chairman of the Central Java National Awakening Party DPW Gus Yusuf Chudlori 1.2 percent, the Chairman of the Central Java PDI-P DPD Bambang Wuryanto 1.2 percent, and the former Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said 0.8 percent. While the other names amounted to 6 percent and those who did not serve or did not know were 64 percent.

The Kompas Research and Development Survey was held on June 20-25, 2024, involving 500 randomly selected respondents from 35 cities/districts in Central Java.

The survey was conducted with face-to-face interviews. The survey margin of error is at +/- 4.4 percent. With a confidence level of 95 percent.
