Mother Sued By Her Biological Child Asked For Peace Of IDR 25 Billion
The Kusupurati legal team, the mother who was sued by her biological child in connection with falsification of signatures in the heir's certificate, revealed that there was a request for "peace money" of Rp. 25 billion from the child to his biological mother.
"Two days before the trial or on Saturday (13/7),STEphanie (the reporter) sent people meeting with Kusu Lutaki (the defendant) to ask for money worth Rp. 25 billion along with three land assets on which there are houses and shops," said Kusuceti's attorney, Ika Rahmawati, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 16.
According to Ika, at that time Stephanie sent her uncle, Edi Budiono, to meet with Kusu Botari and her family. During the meeting, Edi Budiono admitted that he had a mandate from Stephanie to submit a request for money of Rp. 25 billion along with three land assets.
Ika admitted that she was confused by the request for tens of billions of money because in the draft mediation from Stephanie's side, in accordance with the mediation held by the Karawang District Court around last week, the nominal amount of the money was not stated.
However, it was later discovered that the Rp25 billion money that Stephanie asked her biological mother, Kusu Botihi, was a requirement to make peace. This means that if the money is given, there will be peace in the next mediation.
He considered Stephanie's attitude to be quite confusing because on the one hand she offered a draft mediation containing 9 articles which were the result of mediation around last week, on the other hand asking for Rp25 billion outside of the draft mediation.
"I will ask that it be legal consideration for the mediator during the next mediation scheduled for next Monday at the Karawang District Court," he said.
Kusuhi was sued by his biological child,STEphanie, on suspicion of falsifying signatures in the heir's certificate. However, the contents of the heir's certificate did not actually eliminate Stephanie as an heir.
According to Ika, the case involving her child and biological mother is indeed related to a forgery case. However, in an effort to make peace or mediation, since being handled by Polda Metro Jaya, there has been a value of money requested by Stephanie. In fact, while at the Regional Police concerned asked for Rp500 billion in cash so that it could be peaceful.
Likewise, at the Attorney General's Office, said Ika, Stephanie also asked for compensation of Rp. 10 billion for the flow of the case. In fact, Kusu had his position as the party reported.
