Black Sabbath Personnel, Right? Butler Reveals The Beatles' Influence On His Music
JAKARTA - Many people define The Beatles music as fundamental to the birth of music in the next era. Indiscriminately the genre, the Liverpool band managed to inspire pop musicians to death metal.
One of those who admit the influence of The Beatles isminton Butler. The Black Sabbath bassist shared the amount of influence he felt from his senior.
"They are very strong influence, because there was nothing like them at that time,"ester said in an interview with WRKR, reported by NME.
He compared John Lennon et al's existence to other names who were also popular at the time, such as Elvis Presley. But about the British rock band, The Beatles were the only one.
"At that time my brothers liked Elvis (Presley) and Eddie Cochran to Buddy Holly, that kind of music. There is no original rock band from England," he said.

The Beatles have strong characteristics from various sides, ranging from persona, sound design and appearance. Butler's fans were very impressed with their originality.
"All the rock n-roll bands at that time tried to imitate America, and nothing worked. Then when the Beatles appeared, they had a very original sound," explained the 74-year-old musician.
Butler further has a personal bond, because his house is close to Liverpool. As a fellow British musician, the presence of the Beatles is a positive hope for the British music industry.
In the end, he also feels more compatible with the sound and references of old music than new ones. According to him, he can relate more to familiar things, which inspired his work with Black Sabbath and other projects.
