SEVENTEEN's Woozi Firmly Assessed The News Of Music Making Using AI

JAKARTA - Woozi SEVENTEEN opened his voice after being accused of making songs for his group using AI or artificial intelligence. This news began when an international news portal said there was a possibility that SEVENTEEN would use AI for their music.

This is also related to Woozi's statement during a press conference that he experimented with AI to find out his strengths and weaknesses. He tries to go hand in hand with AI technology but maintains SEVENTEEN's musical identity.

When the news circulated, Woozi uploaded a post on his Instagram Story. The short sentence became a statement that he as a producer did not use AI in making SEVENTEEN songs.

"All SEVENTEEN music is written and made with human creators," Woozi wrote in Korean and English.

Apart from Woozi, the agency that oversees SEVENTEEN - PLEDIS Entertainment stated that they have never used AI for official matters.

"It's not true that AI is used for SEVENTEEN song lyrics," said a source from PLEDIS.

The agency also requested improvements in the news portal statement to avoid misinformation provided to the public.

Woozi is one of SEVENTEEN's members who is the figure behind their group songs and other musicians. He produced several SEVENTEEN albums including their latest album, 17 is Right Here.

In addition, Woozi also worked on songs for the units of Jeonghan x Wonwoo, BSS, Tobi Lou, fromis_9, Bumzu, NUEST W, IOI, and others.
