Minister Of Transportation Says IKN Will Have A Pinisi Ship That Is More Beautiful Than Labuan Bajo

Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi said that the phinisi ship that will operate in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan, will be more beautiful than the one in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Telggata (NTT).

Budi's statement answered questions from the media crew regarding what kind of phinisi ship in IKN would be like later.

"Oh more beautiful," replied Budi briefly when met at Harjamukti LRT Station, Depok, West Java, Sunday, July 14.

Currently, continued Budi, the government is indeed preparing several phinisi ships for the Balikpapan Bay. These ships will be the attraction of tourism in IKN.

"We'll see that the Balikpapan Bay is very beautiful. I think if there are guests, tourists, going to IKN, it turns colorful. To IKN by electric bus, riding ART. Now in the sea we will provide several benefits, so that people can use these pinions, both for transportation and travel," he said.

Previously, the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi supported the plan to cruise the phinisi ship for tourism to IKN in Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan.

Budi assessed that this step is important to introduce IKN to the wider community, especially since the potential for tourism in Balikpapan waters is very interesting to enjoy.

The potential for tourism in Balikpapan waters that are still green and natural is very amazing and very unfortunate if it is not maximized. Therefore, today I visited Punggur Port, ITCI Port, and the Orangutan Sanctuary which is planned to be a shipping route for phinisi ships for tourist purposes in the Balikpapan area, especially to go to the IKN area," said the Minister of Transportation during a working visit to Balikpapan, Friday, June 21.

The Ministry of Transportation through the Directorate General of Sea Transportation has set two routes for the service of phinisi ships, namely from Semayang-Jebatan Pulau Balang (passing)-Dermaga PT ITCI KU (spinning)-Pelabuhan Semayang. Then for the reverse route, namely PT ITCI KU-Jembatan Pulau Balang (passing)-Labuhan Semayang (leading)-Dermaga PT ITCI KU.

The total shipping time is estimated to be 3 hours and 30 minutes. Along the way, continued Budi, tourists will be able to enjoy a variety of interesting experiences, ranging from culinary tours, visiting the aesthetic multipurpose building and the Balang Island bridge, mangrove forest, orangutan breeding, to seeing other endemic animals, such as pesut fish, defenders, and crocodiles.

While in the IKN area, tourists will be able to enjoy city tours in the Central Central Government Core Area using environmentally friendly vehicles. This will certainly be an unforgettable experience for tourists," said Budi.
