Test Battery Resilience Test Of Neta Electric Car Passes 30 Cm High Water Inundation

JAKARTA - PT Neta Auto Indonesia recently launched its newest electric car, Neta V-II, which uses a Lithium-ion (LFP) battery with a capacity of 40.7 kWh.

Talking about electric car batteries, of course, not a few are worried about the damage to these components when submerged in water or passing through puddles. However, Neta claims that the batteries have passed in various stages of testing.

"Baterai Neta V-II telah melalui berbagai pengetesan, mulai dari vibration dan shock test, squeez, wet heat cycle, extream flame, water immersion, temperature shock, salt spray hingga short circuit," kata Product Planning Manager Neta Auto Indonesia Jordy Angkawidjaja, kepada awak media, Jumat, 12 Juli.

Jordy explained that when testing, for example, the external flare of the battery was ignited on top of it and nothing happened to the battery. Not without reason, he said that this battery is also equipped with HEPT 3.0 thermostatic management system technology, which can keep the battery temperature optimal. As a result, the battery temperature is maintained at 45 degrees Celsius.

In addition, the Neta V-II electric car battery is also claimed to be safe from water immersions with a reasonable depth. This is also evidenced when carrying the car through puddles with a height of approximately 30-35 cm.

The VOI team also had the opportunity to try out the test and the results were no problem. Because the battery is already protected with various other components. The car is also still safe to use to return to Jakarta.

"This test is also proof that the battery is safe when passing through a deep puddle," said Senior Manager After Sales Neta Auto Indonesia.

So, the Neta V-II electric car battery is ensured to be safe through the puddle.
