Google Maps Launches Immersive View Feature In Canada

JAKARTA In February last year, Google launched the Immersive View feature to preview places in photorealistic 3D mode. This feature combines images from Street View and air imagery. Google is committed to providing a multidimensional experience that looks real on Maps, but this feature is limited in several countries. Therefore, they are expanding the Immersive View feature in five major cities in Canada. The five cities are Montreal, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, and Edmonton. Starting Thursday, July 11, people in the five cities can already explore the desired place virtually using the Immersive View. With this feature, they can determine an interesting vacation spot to visit. Not only seeing the appearance of the location in 3D, Immersive View will adjust the appearance of the location according to the hours set by its users.

"With a time shiftr, you can also see how crowded a place is at a different time in a day so you can make plans for the future," Google said in its official broadcast. To use this capability, users only need to open the Maps app on their Android devices. After that, look for a place to visit in those five cities and look for an Immersive View preview button. This button is in search results with a small camera icon. Once the buttons are tapped, users can explore their location by shifting or enlargeing the screen, changing the time, and changing the weather temperature.
