Daihatsu Announces Achievement Of The First Semester Of 2024, Sales Approach 90 Thousand Units In Indonesia

JAKARTA - In the first semester period, Daihatsu achieved retail sales of up to 89,378 units from 431,000 overall units. Thus, this manufacturer contributes to the market share of 20.7 percent, up 0.3 percent from last year.

Marketing & Customer Relations Division Head of PT Astra International Tbk Daihatsu Sales Operation Tri Mulyono, said that his party will always provide the best programs and services and hope this trend can grow.

"Hopefully the automotive market in 2024 can continue to grow, especially ahead of the upcoming GIIAS exhibition," Tri said in his statement, Friday, July 12.

During the first six months, the Sigra model obtained sales of up to 30,013 units or contributed 33.6 percent, followed by Gran Max Pick-Up with 20,996 units (23.5 percent, and Terios with 11,093 units (12.4 percent).

Several Daihatsu models also have a sizeable contribution to each segment in the country. Sigra contributed up to 61 percent in the MPV Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) market, followed by Gran Max Pick-Up at 56 percent in the Pick-Up Low market, and Gran Max Mini Bus at 91 percent in the Low Semi Commercial segment amounting to 7,250 units.

This sales achievement is also due to the support of various conveniences in owning Daihatsu's new car, starting from trading-in facilities, easy credit purchases from leasing companies as needed, as well as various full-sale services for ease of treatment.
