Losing, Angger Dimas' Father Asks Yudha Arfandi To Be Sentenced To Death For The Dante Murder Case

JAKARTA - Angger Dimas' father, Agus Rianto, was present at the Dante murder trial which was held at the East Jakarta District Court today, Thursday, July 11.

Agus' presence was of course to witness the proceedings of his grandson's death. After the trial, Agus expressed hope for the appropriate law for the suspect in this case, Yudha Arfandi alias YA.

Agus publicly said that he wanted Yudha Arfandi to be sentenced to death or be severely punished according to his treatment.

"Yes, it's hard. At least the death penalty, but in our country there is a state sentence, we don't carry out the death penalty, maybe a life sentence, just for my grandson," said Agus Rianto at the East Jakarta District Court, Thursday, July 11.

Agus said that at the trial he did not focus on Yudha Arfandi but on the trial and the punishment that would be imposed on him.

He really hopes that the panel of judges can enforce the fairest law against Yudha because of the sense of losing a grandfather to his grandson.

"I don't see it too clearly because I don't care what kind of face I clearly ask for the law to be enforced as hard as possible," he explained.

"Because for me, I lost it once, so I ask that it be enforced fairly," he said.
