5 Suspects Arrested, 6.8 Kg Of Marijuana From West Sumatra Arrested By Bengkulu Police
BENGKULU - The Narcotics Investigation Unit (Satrenarkoba) of the Bengkulu City Police (Polresta) confiscated 6.8 kilograms of marijuana from West Sumatra Province (West Sumatra).
Deputy Chief of Bengkulu Police AKBP Max Mariners said the 6.8 kg of marijuana was confiscated after his party arrested five suspected narcotics dealers.
"We have secured the gang of five suspects thanks to the hard work of the Bengkulu Police Narcotics Unit team in several different locations," he said in Bengkulu, Thursday, July 11, which was confiscated by Antara.
The five suspects are RH (23) a resident of Kandang Mas Village, suspect AY (27) a resident of Bentiling Village, FS (31) a resident of Kebun Keling Village, KA (42) a resident of Nusa Indah Village, Bengkulu City and RA (29) a resident of Napal Putih District, North Bengkulu Regency.
He explained that the suspect FS was a drug dealer who was arrested while taking six large packages which were sent via travel car services from the city of Padang, West Sumatra (West Sumatra).

Then, based on the results of the investigation, the package will be circulated in the Bengkulu City area and the suspects also plan to order 20 kilograms of marijuana packages again.
The same thing was conveyed by the Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Bengkulu Police, AKP Tomi Sahri, explaining that the income of goods from outside Bengkulu was not the first time, because if the 6.8 kg marijuana order was sold, the suspects again ordered more goods.
"This is not the first time the suspect has done this, we are still developing and hunting down related networks," he said.
For their actions, according to Max.the five suspects are threatened with Articles 112 and 114 and/or Article 127 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics, with the threat of imprisonment of more than five years.
