Winamp, A Old Music Screen Now Available On Android And IOS

JAKARTA Winamp is a media player that was once popular in its time. This software was launched in 1997 and competed with music players like Windows Media Player. Windows users before 2012 may be familiar with this one media player. Unfortunately, the heyday of this software began after music players such as iTunes, JOOX, and Spotify emerged. Winamp died in 2013 because AOL, the owner of the media player, had stopped its update. However, as reported by Android Police, Winamp seemed to bounce back after being recognized by Radionomy in 2018. Around the middle of last year, Winamp was re-launched in the form of a website. When released, this media player did not have the feature of accessing the personal media on the device because Winamp was focused on Fanzone.

After launching in the form of a website, Winamp was also released in a much better application form. App versions from Winamp can be used without the need to create an account and don't need to connect with Fanzone. Users can directly access libraries containing media from within the device. Although much better than its older version, Winamp still needs some improvements in order to compete with other media players. Winamp can be downloaded on Android and iOS via Google Play Store or App Store. Since it was first launched in beta at the end of last year, the app has gained several new features such as tab customization, Hotmix radio tab, and bug fixes.
