PDIP Alludes To 'In-Law' Factors When Commenting On Bobby Forward For North Sumatra Gubernatorial Election, PKB: We Both Know
JAKARTA - The chairman of the PKB DPP, Luluk Nur Hamidah, responded to the statement by the Chairman of the PDIP DPP, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, who alluded to the 'in-law factor' in Bobby Nasution's candidacy in the 2024 North Sumatra Pilgub. Luluk said that it is normal for one of the factors in support of Bobby as a governor candidate because he is President Joko Widodo's son-in-law. However, according to him, it cannot be denied that Bobby meets the requirements as a candidate for regional head. "We both think we know. We all know, but I think Mr. Bobby is the mayor too. In politics there must be prerequisites that do influence each other. Of course, it cannot be denied as well as those related to popularity, then connectivity, including the socio-economic political network that is owned," said Luluk at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, July 10. Luluk assessed that Bobby has the capacity as a popular figure who has a socio-economic network. In addition, Bobby's environmental factors are supportive. It is known that Bobby is the husband of President Jokowi's daughter, Kahiyang Ayu. As well as the sister-in-law of the elected Vice President, Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
"Well Bobby has the power there, he is the mayor, he is the president's son-in-law, the president is still in power now, then his brother-in-law (brother, red) is elected vice president. Now from the point of view, he has it, yes, it can't be denied, there is that factor," explained Luluk.

"Yes, so that's my question. Is it really because of the capacity factor from Mr. Bobby, or because of the influence factor from his father-in-law?," continued Djarot
