The Name Sandiaga Appears In The West Java Gubernatorial Election, Golkar Is Optimistic That Ridwan Kamil Will Still Win

JAKARTA - The Golkar Party is not worried that Sandiaga Uno's name will emerge as a candidate for governor of West Java proposed by PKB. Golkar is optimistic that it will win again in West Java if it later carries the incumbent Ridwan Kamil.

"Yes, we are still optimistic, yes. From several surveys that we conducted, including the last survey published by Indonesian Political Indicators, it shows that public satisfaction with Kang Emil is very high," said Chairman of the West Java Golkar DPD, Ace Hasan Syadzily, Wednesday, July 10.

"Including people who still want Kang Emil to become Governor of West Java is quite high. So for us, we are not too worried," he continued.

However, regarding Golkar's interest in pairing Ridwan Kamil with Sandiaga Uno, Ace said, it would still be discussed for decision.

"Yes, if that is decided by the party," said Ace.

Ace believes Ridwan Kamil's survey will remain the highest in West Java. He also asked the public to wait for the results of the second survey conducted internally by Golkar.

"Yes, of course we can see by the Indonesian Political Indicators survey. We are waiting for the results (the second internal survey, ed)," said Ace.
