PDIP Questions Bobby's Support Factor, Golkar Defends: His Capacity Is Clear As Regional Head

JAKARTA - The Golkar Party defended the Mayor of Medan whose capacity was questioned as a candidate for governor of North Sumatra by the PDIP. Golkar emphasized that Bobby's capacity as regional head was clear so that he received a lot of support from political parties (political parties).

"Mas Bobby is clearly the same as the Mayor of Medan. Of course his capacity as regional head can be seen and felt by the community. So it is very inappropriate for those who question the capacity of Mr. Bobby," said the chairman of the Golkar Party DPP, Ace Hasan Syadzily, Wednesday, July 10.

According to the member of the DPR, Bobby's performance can be seen and felt during his tenure as mayor of Medan. So that President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) son-in-law deserves to be proposed as a governor candidate.

"Yes, I think by looking at his performance as Mayor of Medan, of course we can assess how far his performance and capacity are. Those who have the right to become governors in North Sumatra," said Ace.

Previously, PDIP DPP chairman Djarot Syaiful Hidayat questioned the reason for the support of the 7 political parties. Did you see Bobby's capacity or influence from his in-laws, namely President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

"Pilkada Sumut ya? Untuk mas Bobby sudah dapat (supportan 7 parpol, red), itu karena mas Bobbynya atau karena in-laws? Itu pertanyaannya," ujar Djarot, Selasa, 9 Juli.

According to Djarot, PDIP has yet to determine the cagub to be carried because it is still listening to the voices of the people regarding who the figure wants. Although, Edy Rahmayadi has already taken a form to run for this bull party.

"So it's not necessarily true, there are a lot of party supporters, giants, fat ones, supercoalize or whatever, really fat, yes, that's not necessarily (win, ed). Because it determines the people too," said the former governor of DKI Jakarta.

"Yes, so that's my question. Is it really because of the capacity factor from Mr. Bobby, or because of the influence factor from his father-in-law?," continued Djarot.
