Gibran More Agrees With Kaesang To Run For Central Java Gubernatorial Election, The Brother Of The 'Pede' Survey Is Good

JAKARTA - The elected Vice President, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, gave the green light for PSI General Chair, Kaesang Pangarep, to run in the 2024 Central Java Pilkada. Gibran assessed that his younger brother was more suitable to run for the Central Java Governor Election (Pilgub Jateng) than in Jakarta.

Kaesang, who heard this, was then confident, aka confident, because his electability was in the first position for the Central Java Pilkada.

"Yes, we'll see. But thank God the survey was good," said Kaesang at the PKS DPP office, South Jakarta, Monday, July 8.

Previously, Gibran Rakabuming stated that he did not agree if Kaesang Pangarep ran in the Jakarta gubernatorial election. Gibran admitted to supporting the statement of PDIP DPP Chair Puan Maharani regarding the opportunity for Kaesang to run for the Central Java gubernatorial election.

"I support Mbak Puan's statement. The one who brought up Mbak Puan, right. Mbak Puan's statement was earlier," said Gibran when met at the Solo DPRD Building, Monday, July 8.

"That should Kaesang meet Mbak Puan today, if Mbak Puan has a statement like that, it should be good," he continued.

However, when asked about the progress of the Jakarta Pilkada, Gibran admitted that he did not agree. He stated that he would not endorse Kaesang in Jakarta.

"Kaesang should not be in Jakarta," said Gibran.

"I'm not related to Kaesang in Jakarta. (Endorse) Why endorse, no, I checked the flood," he continued.
