The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating allegations of corruption in the construction of a temporary evacuation site (TES) or tsunami shelter in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province.

This procurement is said to have been carried out by the Building and Environmental Planning Task Force, the Implementation Activities for Building and Environmental Planning (PBL). KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika said the investigation had been carried out since last year.

Tessa said there were two suspects named in this case. But he didn't specify their identities.

"Two suspects, namely one from state administrators and the other from BUMN," he said.

This case, called Tessa, has caused state losses. The nominal reached Rp19 billion.

"Regarding the suspect's name and illegal acts committed by the suspects, it will be announced when the investigation of this case has been deemed sufficient," concluded the spokesman with the investigator's background.
