Cipayung Police Calls The Man Who Carried The Black Suitcase Who Was Recorded By CCTV Having An ID Card NIK

The Cipayung Police Criminal Investigation Unit managed to identify a man carrying a black suitcase who was caught on CCTV around the boarding house where the body of a woman with the initials YY was found in the Cipayung area, East Jakarta.

"He is no longer a foreigner, but the person concerned has become an Indonesian citizen. There is an ID card NIK," said Cipayung Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, AKP Hotman Sinaga when confirmed by VOI, Monday, July 8, afternoon.

Although his identity has been identified, the Cipayung Police Criminal Investigation Unit has not been able to secure the man. AKP Hotman said that the case was still under investigation.

"The person concerned cannot be contacted because the cellphone is not active. For involvement, investigators are still conducting investigations," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the joint team was still hunting for an Arab citizen (WN) who was suspected of being YY's lover, a woman who was found dead in a Cipayung boarding house, East Jakarta on Tuesday, July 2.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cipayung Police, AKP Hotman Sinaga, said the man was suspected of having a relationship with the victim YY. This was based on the statement from the foreign man's first wife.

"The allegation (of the victim's husband). It's still an investigation, whether he is married or not," said AKP Hotman when confirmed, Thursday, July 4.

AKP Hotman said, based on the information of his first wife, the alleged perpetrator fled to Malaysia.
