Allegations Of Corruption In The Series Of BPK And DPR Members Investigated By The KPK

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating allegations of corruption that are said to have dragged members of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) and members of the House of Representatives (DPR).

KPK Investigation Director Asep Guntur confirmed that the two parties being investigated were BPK member Ahmadi Noor Supit and Gerindra DPR Member Commission XI Heri Gunawan.

"This is still being investigated, yes, the US and HG are still in the process of being investigated," Asep told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, July 4.

Asep did not want to elaborate further on the investigation. This is because this process is usually carried out behind closed doors.

Even so, he emphasized that the investigation was carried out not related to the corruption case in determining the findings of the BPK examination in Sorong Regency, Southwest Papua Province. "There is a case in itself," said Asep.

As for this case, there are six people who are being prosecuted. They are Acting Regent of SorongYan Piet Mosso; Head of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Sorong Regency Efer Sigidifat; BPKAD staff of Sorong Regency Maniel Syatfle; Head of the Southwest Papua Provincial BPPK Representative Patrice Lumumba Sihombing; Head of Subaud BPK of Southwest Papua Province Abu Hanifa; and Head of the Audit Team David Patasaung.

In the ongoing investigation process, there was the involvement of BPK Member VI Pius Lustrilanang. He has been examined in the investigation process and trial at the Manokwari Corruption Court.

"For PS brothers, they have testified at the trial of the Sorong OTT case online or online," he concluded.
