Ahead Of One Year Of Launch, Threads Reaches 175 Million Users
JAKARTA Threads, one of the social media platforms under the auspices of Meta, will be a birthday on July 6. Competitors of platform X, formerly known as Twitter, will be one year old. Before even one year old, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that Threads has reached 175 million monthly active users. This number shows that Threads is growing well despite its slow growth. To date, Meta has never revealed the daily number of users on Threads. It seems that user activity on the platform is still mixed with people who have not joined Threads. Reporting from The Verge, Meta employees revealed that the growth of the Threads app still relies on promotions running on Instagram. Meta is still trying to attract more users. If application growth, including its users, is still running very slowly, the Threads application system will never change. That is, the account system on Threads will remain integrated with Instagram.

Zuckerberg is optimistic that this microbloke platform can reach billions of people in various parts of the world. The Facebook founder believes the social media system is decentralized and believes it can pursue X's success. Threads' focus is still the same today, taking advantage of opportunities for X users to escape. Given that X often gets criticism from its users for Elon Musk's policies, users of this app may switch to other social media such as Threads.
