Investigating Allegations Of PJUTS Corruption, Bareskrim Searches The Office Of The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources

JAKARTA - The Directorate of Corruption Crimes at Bareskrim Polri searched the office of the Directorate General (Ditjen) of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources

The search was related to the alleged corruption in the procurement of lighting for the main street of solar power (PJUTS).

"That's right (the search at the EBTKE Office)," said Deputy Director of Corruption Crimes at Bareskrim Polri Kombes Arief Adiharsa, Thursday, July 4.

But it was not conveyed in detail about the main case in handling the alleged corruption.

So far, it is only known that PJUTS is a government program sourced from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).

"Later we will explain (the number of cases of alleged corruption)," said Arief.
