Rossa Trained By Mother To Singing Like Nicky Astria And Anggun Since Elementary School
JAKARTA - Rossa's big name as an Indonesian female soloist was obtained through a long struggle. Since childhood, the singer 'Too Love' has trained hard to become a singer.
Rossa said that her love for the world of singing has been around since she was a child. Thanks to the guidance of her mother who is also a singer, she had to undergo difficult training.
"Mamaku used to be a regional singer, I was obliged to practice. One day it was two hours of training," Rossa told the media crew in Thamrin, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, July 3.
"I used to really like Nicky Astria and Anggun, so I had to reach that high tone when I was in elementary school," Rossa continued.
Not only vocal training, Rossa admitted that he had been taught discipline and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to support singing skills.

"From the time I woke up at five o'clock, praying, then exercising. Alhamdulillah, until now it has become healthy. And I also have breathing exercise, so for 30 minutes it is specifically for breathing sports. Calculated for how many minutes I hold my breath, it turns out to be useful when I sing, I can sing with quite a long breath, "said the 45-year-old singer.
Even though she is currently one of the respected female soloists, Rossa admits that she doesn't always win when participating in the race. However, everything that has been through since childhood has become a valuable lesson in the future.
Rossa's share of the journey to build her music career will come in the documentary "All Access to Rossa 25 Shining Years". The film will hit theaters starting August 1.
