KPK Regarding PPE Procurement Corruption Case: State Losses Rp300 Billion, Suspects There Are 3
The Corruption Eradication Commission has named three suspects in the corruption case in the procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) at the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes). The investigation process has been carried out since September 2023.
"The KPK has named three suspects with alleged state losses of Rp. 300 billion," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, July 3.
Tessa did not specify the identities of the suspects in this case. However, from the information circulating they are former Commitment Making Officers (PPK) and Head of the Health Crisis Center of the Ministry of Health Budi Badika; President Director of PT Permana Putra Mandiri (PPM), Ahmad Taufik and President Director of PT Energi Kita Indonesia (EKI), Satrio Wibowo.
Previously reported, the KPK named a suspect in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) for the period 2020-2022 or during the COVID-19 pandemic. The number is more than one person but his identity has not been disclosed.
From the results of the temporary investigation, the value of state losses caused reached hundreds of billions of rupiah. The project value is IDR 3.03 trillion for the procurement of 5 million PPE packages.

As for this case, eight people have been prevented from leaving the country. They are Budi Badminton as the state civil apparatus (ASN) at the Ministry of Health, Hermansyah who is an ASN from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), Satrio Wibowo and Ahmad Taufik as private sector, and A. Isdar Yusuf as advocates.
Then also prevented to go abroad, SLN, who is a doctor and two private parties, namely ET and AM. Although the anti-corruption commission did not specify, a doctor was examined, namely Sri Lucy Novita.
