Dahlan Iskan Claims To Be Targeted By The KPK Regarding The LNG Procurement GMS At PT Pertamina

JAKARTA - Former SOE Minister Dahlan Iskan has been questioned as a witness by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators regarding the alleged corruption in the procurement of liquid natural gas (LNG) at PT Pertamina (Persero). He claimed to be questioned about the general meeting of shareholders (GMS).

Dahlan Iskan was examined for almost 45 minutes. He finished undergoing examination at 17.13 WIB.

"Oh, (checked, red) about the GMS," Dahlan told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, July 3.

Investigators, continued Dahlan, also asked whether there was a discussion about the LNG procurement in the meeting. "The answer you already know," he said.

He emphasized that the GMS had never been implemented. Dahlan also never specifically discussed the procurement of LNG by PT Pertamina (Persero), including with Karen Agustiawan who had served as president director.

"Yes, maybe he thinks it's enough with whom or not. I don't feel (discussing, ed) but it's not necessarily not," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK is developing a corruption case in the procurement of LNG at PT Pertamina (Persero) two people have been named as suspects. They are Senior Vice President (SPV) Gas and Power Pertamina 2013-2014, Yenni Andayani and Hari Karyulianto who are Directors of Gas Pertamina 2012-2014. Both of them were Karen's subordinates while serving as President Director (Director) of PT Pertamina (Persero). In addition, they got power from Karen to sign a sale agreement or sales purchase agreement (SPA) LNG Train 1 and Train 2 from a subsidiary of Cheniere Energy, Inc., Corpus Christie Liquefaction, LCC or CCL.
