MPR RI Leader Visits PAN DPP, Zulhas: It's Been A Long Time Can't See
JAKARTA - The leadership of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) visited the PAN Central Leadership Council (DPP) Office in Jakarta, Wednesday, July 2. They met the General Chairperson of PAN Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) along with PAN officials.
The MPR leaders who visited started from MPR Chairman Bambang Soesatyo, MPR Deputy Chair Fadel Muhammad, MPR Deputy Chair Amir Uskara, MPR Deputy Chair Ahmad Basarah, to MPR Deputy Chair Jazilul Fawaid.
"I haven't seen him for a long time," said Zulhas when he arrived at the PAN DPP Office and shook hands with the Indonesian MPR leaders, confiscated by Antara.
The MPR leaders first arrived at the PAN DPP Office before 12.00 WIB. Meanwhile, Zulhas arrived at around 12.30 WIB at his office.
The meeting, among others, became the agenda of the MPR RI in the context of the National Gathering. In addition to the general chairman of political parties, Zulhas was also met by the leaders of the MPR RI in his capacity as the former Chairman of the MPR RI for the 2014-2019 period.
After meeting and taking pictures together, the MPR leaders immediately held a meeting with Zulhas on the 3rd Floor of the party's head office with the white sun logo.

Previously, the Chairman of the MPR RI Bambang Soesatyo alias Bamsoet said that the MPR RI would again conduct National Gatherings to various national figures ahead of the transition to national leadership politics.
The gathering will be held to President Joko Widodo and Vice President KH Ma'ruf Amin, President and Vice President Elect Prabowo-Gibran, 5th President Megawati Soekarnoputri, 6th President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, and 6th Vice President Try Sutrisno, 9th Vice President Hamzah Haz, 10th Vice President and 12th President Jusuf Kalla, 11th Vice President Boediono.
In addition, the gathering will be carried out on former Chairmen of the MPR RI, leaders of political parties, and leaders of social organizations including religious organizations.
Bamsoet explained that the National Gathering is needed so that the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly can continue to ground it in various circles, become a national house that maintains the diversity of the nation, guard the Pancasila ideology, enforce the constitution and sovereignty of the people, and becomes a bulwark for the establishment of the Republic of Indonesia.
