Nova Arianto Opens His Voice About The Red Card Of Indonesian U-16 Players In Defeat Vs Australia U-16
JAKARTA - The U-16 Indonesian national team coach, Nova Arianto, opened his voice about the red card his players got against Australia U-16 in the 2024 AFF U-16 Cup semifinals. In that match, Garuda Muda in the end had to accept a 3-5 defeat with 10 players.
The match took place at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, on Monday, July 1, 2024, WIB night. Facing Australia U-16, Indonesia U-16 was forced to play with 10 people from the 28th minute.
This situation must be overcome because Raihan Apriansyah Sudrajat received a red card. Appearing with 10 players during the 2-2 draw, Nova Arianto said that his children had difficulty developing the game.
"We got a red card and it made the game a little different," Nova Arianto said in a statement after the match, quoted on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

Although the coach saw that his team had difficulty getting out of the pressure, Nova said his troops had fought tremendously.
"However, my players worked very hard. They played with 10 people. Even though they lost, they continued to fight," he said.
The defeat made the U-16 Indonesian national team fail to advance to the 2024 AFF U-16 Cup final. Nova also interpreted the result as a valuable lesson for his team before looking at the U-17 Asian Cup Qualification.
Another thing that the coach learned from this appearance was that his children clearly had a good mentality and did not give up easily.
