Police Dispersed Youth Party Drinking Tuak Mixed With Cough Medicine At Mukomuko Bengkulu
MUKOMUKO - Police dispersed a crowd of youths who were partying for traditional tuak (palm wine) liquor in the Air Patah Beach area, Mukomuko, Bengkulu.
"We appeal to the youths to immediately disperse and return to their homes respectively," said the Head of Mukomuko Police, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant Andy Arisandi, as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, March 17.
The Mukomuko Police Sabhara Unit Team conducts routine patrols in the Air Patah Beach area in anticipation of drinking parties.

During the raid, the police also found packs of liquid cough medicine that were allegedly misused for drunkenness.
The police immediately reprimanded the young men. They also asked youths caught in tuak parties to comply with health protocols.
"The police will carry out routine patrols so that there are no more youths who commit violations such as drinking alcohol along the coast, which is the location of the tourist attraction in this area," said Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant Andy.
