Lessons From David Foster: Don't Force Children To Continue To Practice Music
JAKARTA - Rennie Foster, son of David Foster and Katharine kaline, went viral and received praise from many people for her musical abilities. Even though she is 3 years old, Rennie is able to play drums according to the rhythm of the song.
However, Rennie is said to have not played drums in recent months. David said that his son, who is currently participating in his Asian tour group, was resting from the drums for a while.
He (Rennie) is on hiatus for a while. He hasn't played drums in the past month or two," said David Foster, citing People, Monday, July 1.
There is no specific reason why Rennie should stop playing her drums. However, David said it was natural for a 3-year-old child. According to him, children cannot be forced to do things without doing anything else.
"As parents, you can't force them. It's like you want to play drums, and there's something else next. So, he stopped a little (from drums)," said the 74-year-old producer and songwriter.
