The National Police Chief Apologizes For Lack Of Maximum, Open Criticism-Aspirations
JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo apologized to all the people if his staff had many shortcomings in carrying out their duties.
He conveyed this apology during a speech at the 78th anniversary of Bhayangkara at the Monas Cross, Central Jakarta, Monday, July 1.
"We apologize if there are still many shortcomings in carrying out the task," said Sigit.
Not only that, Sigit also stated that he was open to any criticism regarding the performance of the Police. Because, it is an evaluation for the future improvement of the Bhayangkara Corps.
"We continue to be committed to opening a space for criticism of suggestions and aspirations in the context of evaluating and improving the organization so that we can continue to make changes in order to create a beloved Polri according to the expectations of the community," he said.

This is also a follow-up to President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) directive to make the National Police better in serving and protecting the community.
"As ordered by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, we are committed to becoming a true Bhayangkara who continues to serve the people, nation and state for the progress of Indonesia," said Sigit.
