The Ministry Of Religion Of NTB Makes New Policies Free Of Maag And Asma Enter Islamic Boarding School Imbas Persecution Of Santriwati Al-Aziziyah To Death

The Ministry of Religion of the West Lombok Region, West Nusa Tenggara, has made a new policy following the alleged abuse of an Al-Aziziyah Islamic Boarding School student with the initials NI (13) who has now died after undergoing medical treatment at dr. Raden Soedjono Hospital."So, those who enter the hut will be declared healthy. They do not carry diseases from outside, such as ulcers, asthma, they go back and forth," said Head of the West Lombok Ministry of Religion Haryadi Iskandar in Mataram, Antara, Monday, July 1.According to him, by including health as a condition for entering Islamic boarding schools, the teaching and learning process will run smoothly."The aspect (health requirements) will be conveyed to the Islamic boarding school forum. We will gather the leaders of the cottage in order to guard it," he said.In addition to health requirements, the Ministry of Religion will also evaluate the ability of Islamic boarding schools to accommodate new students and the completeness of supporting facilities, one of which is clean water needs."Including clothes, often the boarding school children, their clothes are often transparent," he said.Regarding the alleged mistreatment of NI female students who are currently running in the police, the Ministry of Religion respects the legal process. His party has also visited the Al-Aziziyah Islamic Boarding School to see the teaching and learning situation as well as ask for clarification regarding the case."Of course we will take action if the incident (alleged persecution) is true, depending on the court's results and there is violence or what is not appropriate," said Haryadi. The action from the Ministry of Religion could lead to the revocation of the foundation's permit. However, this action is considered as the Ministry of Religion's final effort. "Initially we gave a warning letter two or three times to maintain security in the hut. If it is still there, we will propose to investigate it as a consideration for the revocation of the permit," he said. However, the sanction for revocation of this permit only applies to institutional issues, in contrast to cases of abuse revealed as a result of individual actions.
"If the action is because it is an individual, then another thing, if the action is carried out institutionally, then the one responsible is the institution," he said.
