NasDem Discusses Cooperation With Prabowo-Gibran Government In Congress III
JAKARTA - The NasDem Party will hold a Congress III on August 25-27, 2024 in Jakarta. NasDem invited Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka to the Congress.
Secretary-General of the NasDem Party, Hermawi Taslim, explained that one of the agendas of the Congress that will be carried out is the discussion of the cooperation that will be built with the Prabowo-Gibran government.
"The elected president, we will invite him. Here, the true spirit we will invite him as part of the pre-congress, then we will explain later what points we can do together," said Hermawi at the NasDem DPP office, Friday, June 28.
In the third Congress, NasDem also asked Prabowo-Gibran to give a presentation on work programs and policies that will be implemented during the next five years of government.
"So they present here. The most important thing is economic problems. We are very concerned about the problem of national stability. Later, then we invite the team here in the form of a coalition involving many parties," added NasDem DPP Chairman Willy Aditya.
In addition, NasDem will also provide recommendations to Prabowo-Gibran regarding party agendas to be run by a new government. Among them are political issues, legal reforms, to fiscal and economic policies.
"So, from the recommendations of this congress, we will draw up priority agendas that according to the Nasdem party congress become a common ground for the NasDem Party with all existing stakeholders, including with the new government for us to fight for for for for the next five years," explained NasDem Party DPP chairman Martin Manurung.

The NasDem III Congress will involve 100 people in the entire series of activities. The participants were educated from the management structure to the sub-district level which will be present digitally. NasDem strives for 30 percent of congress participants to be women.
