Renault Korea Officially Launches Grand Koleos, Take A Peek At The Specifications
Renault Korea officially launched the Grand Koleos a hybrid SUV crossover for the first time globally, at the 2024 Busan International Motor Show.
Quoting from The Korea Times page, Friday, June 28, this SUV or better known as the Aurora project has attracted the attention of many visitors, as the automaker has not released a new model over the past four years in South Korea.
Our large-scale collaboration with global partners and automotive researchers here allows us to launch this vehicle, said Renault Korea CEO Stephane Deblaise.
In design, this one car is Geely Manjaro's twin in China and stands on the Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform. Indeed, Renault and Geely have had a close relationship since 2022, where Geely Group has acquired a third of Renault Korea.
Back to Renault Grand Koleos, this car has a length of 4,780 mm with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm, and is claimed to be the longest in its class. This car comes with a front design that adopts a frameless grip and a sporty bumper.

Entering the cabin, the Grand Koleos interior is very modern, there is a double screen in the middle, there is also a wireless charging pad, to the cup holder and steering wheel of the three-stop which looks a little bit of a button.
Grand Koleos is equipped with a trendy artificial intelligence (AI) function. The AI infotainment system in vehicles analyzes the driving pattern of its customers, and automatically changes the optimized driving mode for each user.
Speaking of heartburn, this car has two engine options, namely 1,500 cc turbo E-Tech hybrid with a combination of 245 cellphones and 3 speed transmission, and 2,000 cc tubo with 211 hp with 324 Nm torque, which is paired with 7 DTC speed transmission.
Renault Korea plans to start shipping the new SUV in the second half of this year.
