Nabila Taqiyyah Digaet Band Asal Malaysia In Single New Collaboration
JAKARTA - The popular music group from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Insomniacks, collaborated with Nabila Taqiyyah to collaborate through a new single entitled 'Not Started'. This single is a collaboration between two countries, under the auspices of Universal Music Indonesia and Universal Music Malaysia.
For Nabila Taqiyyah, this collaboration explores the other side of herself as a singer by performing a song that has a strong band nuance. On the other hand, for Insomniacks, the song Not Started is the first Indonesian song they released.
It feels very happy and honorable. Nabila is a fun person to be invited to collaborate because of her high professionalism both during recording and during the music video. She is very talented and from the first time we heard her voice for this song, we felt she was an important element in this song and thankfully she was also pleased to be involved in this song," said Insomniacks personnel in a written broadcast received by VOI.
Nabila sees this collaboration as something fun. From the introduction process to the recording, he did not experience any significant problems.
"It must be very happy because this is my first collaboration and special again with a group from Malaysia. The whole production process is running smoothly and happily. In this single 'Not Started', Nabila and Insomniacks teamed up with Clara Riva and S/EEK as the creators of the song. They are known to have collaborated a lot with Indonesian singers to create hits.
The lyrics of this song tell of someone who has to give up his love is over even when the love has not started. The story illustrates the feelings of someone who has to give up people he loves to leave because of one thing and another even though their own love story hasn't started yet.
For the sound department, the music arrangement was made simple by presenting the feel of pop ballad music at first where acoustic guitars became the main weapon. In the middle to the end they included rock elements that were thick with distortions. Although not much, it became a sign that they still put the elements of the band in the arrangement of the song.

"The making of video music in Yogyakarta is very impressive, because it's the first time we can come there and it's even more special because we are with Nabila," said Insomniacks.
