Vendor Lentera Festival Hopes Lost Goods Brought Back By Spectators
JAKARTA - The riots at the Lentera Festival which took place at the Pasar Kemis Football Field, Tangerang ended on Sunday, June 23 causing vendors who rented their equipment to suffer losses of more than Rp600 million.
The tools on stage and its surroundings were not only damaged, but also disappeared because they were taken away by irresponsible people.
"Losses to me sound system vendors, all band tools on stage were damaged. Some were burned, some were looted like monitors, monitor speakers, and mics. Everything was destroyed as you saw," said Otep, one of the vendors to the media crew in Tendean, South Jakarta, Wednesday, June 26.
Moge as the coordinator of the vendors for Lentera Festival hopes that the awareness of those who have taken away the tools from the venue will be returned to the vendors. He hopes that the missing items will be returned to the vendors.

"Friends who were at the location yesterday carrying our speakers, brought barricade fences at the event, chairs, cables or mics of our equipment, to lighting, hopefully friends have self-awareness to return to us, can go directly to us or the local police can also," said Moge.
With what happened, vendors hope that music audiences can be more mature in acting in the future.
"We hope that after this incident, events in Tangerang Raya can still run. This is only because of unscrupulous persons and because of unprofessional organizers. Don't let other professional organizers get affected too," said Otep.
"We hope that the audience will be even more mature in the future. So, it will not be damaging. Even if there is disappointment, we understand, but there should be no destruction."
