Visiting Palangkaraya Residents, Jokowi Ensures Government Rice Aid Continues In 3 Months
KALTENG - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is on a working visit (kunker) in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan Province (Kalteng). The head of state met the government's rice recipients and ensured that the food assistance received was in good condition.
Jokowi had asked residents who received assistance about the condition of the rice that had been received so far whether it had been damaged or not. "If someone points a black rice finger, tell me now, if there is. Now there is none. During the meeting, the residents who received the aid admitted that the rice that had been distributed to them had been in good condition and was suitable for consumption. The president also hopes that the rice assistance that the government has distributed can help the community in meeting their food needs.

"Currently, the stock has been prepared for food assistance. Earlier, as stated by the President, it will be added for the next three months," he explained. Head of the Bulog Office for the Central Kalimantan Region, Budi Cahyanto added, the number of recipients of government food assistance for Palangka Raya City is 7,875 recipients. "If in total in Central Kalimantan there are 113,880 beneficiaries," he concluded.
