Here's The Government's Efforts To Supervise 3 Kg Of Elpiji Filling And Distribution
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) continues to increase supervision and re-distribution of 3 kilograms of LPG (kg) so that it is right on target and filled.
This is in accordance with Presidential Regulation Number 59 of 2020 concerning Amendments to Presidential Regulation Number 71 of 2015 concerning Determination and Storage of Basic Necessities and Important Goods.
"For the distribution of 3 kg LPG, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources through the Directorate General of Oil and Gas is committed to supervising it so that it is right on target and right in content," said Director of Downstream Oil and Gas Business Development Mustika Pertiwi, at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas office, Tuesday, June 25.
Mustika added that supervision of the provision and distribution of 3 kg LPG contents must be carried out together with the Directorate General of Oil and Gas to the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture.
In addition, joint supervision was also carried out by involving the regional government and PT Pertamina (Persero).
"Supervision of 3 kg LPG filling is carried out at the Elpiji Bulk Charging and Transportation Station (SPPBE) in order to ensure that the net weight of the tube meets the provisions of Goods in Wrapped Conditions (BDKT), as stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Trade Number 31/M-DAG/PER/10/2011," explained Mustika.

In carrying out supervision of the provision and distribution of the contents of the melon gas, he continued, the surveillance team will verify the gain value of all SPPBEs.
"Gain is a correction factor (a reduction) in the payment of 3 kg LPG subsidies, to PT Pertamina (Persero) as the Business Entity Assignment for Provision and Distribution of 3 kg LPG cylinder refills. The total gain value on SPPBE for the January period to May 2024 amounted to Rp95.4 billion which was not paid subsidies," he concluded.
