The Government Brings Good News, Next Month There Will Be No Increase In Fuel Prices And Electricity Tariffs
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif said that until now there has been no meeting to discuss the increase in fuel oil prices (BBM) in July.
Just so you know, previously the government decided to hold the price of non-subsidized fuel and electricity prices until June 2024.
"There has been no meeting (between ministries). If there is no meeting, there is no (discussion) whatsoever," said Arifin, quoted on Tuesday, June 25.
He admitted that there had been no further directive from President Joko Widodo regarding the discussion of rising fuel prices and electricity rates.
"There is no direction (from Jokowi). Not yet, not yet. The most waiting for the meeting," continued Arifin.

Previously, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said the government would not increase electricity and fuel oil (BBM) rates for subsidies and non-subsidized until June 2024.
"Earlier it was decided in the plenary cabinet session, there was no increase in electricity, no increase in fuel to juni, be it subsidies and non-subsidies," he told the media crew, Monday, February 26.
