The East Indies Celebrates High School Friendship Through Our Music Videos There
JAKARTA - Indies, a mononimous from Baskara Putra released a music video for Kita Ke Sana, a song taken from the album Besides Life Will End. This music video is a celebration of friendship in high school, starring Teuku Ryzki, Endy Arfian, Moh. Iqbal Sulaiman, and Arla Ailani.
The music video 'Kita Ke Sana' started with Opik (Endy Arfian) who heard the news of the passing of his best friend, Randy (Teuku Ryzki). Then the story of their friendship with Adit (Iqbal Sulaiman) and Dewi (Arla Ailani) was shown.
In the story that was shown, Aco Tenri as the director brought the personal story that had happened in her life into an inspiration for music videos.
When I heard the song, I remembered the fun times of schooling with friends, but my school husband had to go home first, Rendy. I want them to repeat their feelings and memories and coincidentally it is in line with what Baskara wants to tell me through her song," said Aco Tenri in his statement, Monday, June 24.
Aco explained that the music video style 'Kita Ke Sana' also includes elements of joy, although sadness is the basis for the whole story.
I want to attack listeners' emotions with this short story. Following the emotions of the song, I focus on building meetings and separations. So even though it's tragic, it's also conveyed lightly," said Aco.
I feel Baskara is the most fragile in this song. I feel there is a closeness compared to other songs. Emotionally hit in this song," he continued.
'Baskara has a lyric approach that feels very fragile in a different way. All the lyrics he wrote were naked, but at the same time it can be interpreted into many things.'
Behind the production of the music video, the Indies claimed to have left it entirely to Aco Tenri. He believes the director's personal story is the best choice.

"When I heard that Aco had a personal story that he wanted to visualize using this song, I handed over 100 percent of the song to Aco's hand. I believe his emotional content is that he understands. At the moment we agreed that Aco would work on the video, I believe it again belongs to Aco too, and did not dare to interfere with his directives," said Baskara.
In my opinion, Aco's works can always provide a sense of warmth without excessive effort to create certain scenes forced by heartwarming, as if everything happened naturally because of his writing and direction. That's also what I noticed in this Kita Ke Sana video, "concluded the Indies.
