Harga Tiket Konser Musik Mahal, Sandiaga Uno Berharap Digitalisasi Perizinan Event Jadi Solusi

JAKARTA - The high ticket prices for music concerts in Indonesia, especially Jakarta, are often complained by netizens on social media. In many cases, the price of concert tickets in Jakarta is more expensive than in neighboring countries.

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno realized the complaint. He admitted that he often heard music lovers who could not enjoy the concert because of the high ticket price.

"Yes, they also need life. Although many people want healing, which wants the price (conferencing tickets) to be affordable, (but what makes the price expensive) one of them is licensing and security costs," said Sandiaga Uno in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta recently.

Sandi hopes that the digitization of licensing services for events initiated by the National Police can be a solution to the high cost of holding music concerts. With the reduction in production costs, tickets for music concerts sold will be more affordable for music lovers.

"Therefore, the National Police Chief has invited all of us to integrate online-based concert licensing, and that is planned for Monday (June 24) to be launched," said Sandi.

"It is hoped that the concert fee will be reduced by around 20 to 25 percent," he continued.

For information, the grand launching of licensing services for the implementation of digital-based events was held this morning, Monday, June 24 at The Tribrata, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. This event was also attended by President Joko Widodo.
