AHY Hands Over First Electronic Certificate In West Kalimantan Kubu Raya

PONTIANAK - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) handed over 10 initial electronic land certificates in Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan.

The five certificates are the result of the land redistribution program and the other five are the results of the Complete Systematic Land Registration program (PTSL).

"So this is also special because it was the first time in West Kalimantan. This electronic certificate was the first time, so at the Land Office (Kantah) the main camp represents an electronic certificate for all of West Kalimantan," said AHY after the delivery of an electronic certificate at the Kubu Raya Land Office (Kantah) reported by ANTARA, Saturday, June 22.

Through electronic certificates, he continued, land certificates are not only more compact but can also be more flexible when checked by the public, namely through the Touch Tanahku application.

"Actually, it doesn't need to be printed, but if it is printed, it can also be printed. But on the cellphone (can) it is checked at any time," he explained.

AHY emphasized that data that had entered the digital-based Ministry of ATR/BPN was able to strengthen from a legal and justice perspective so as to mitigate the misuse of certificates by the land mafia.

"With all this digital, we hope to reduce that potential and even quickly we can carry out an examination and immediately clarify which one is right and which one is wrong," he also said.

Meanwhile, Syaifudin, one of the recipients of electronic certificates from the Tanah Redistribution program, assessed that with the electronic certificate he received, now legal certainty about his land is more certain.

"Yes, thank God, I'm happy and hopefully all of them will be certified later, this is the light of the house being certified," he said.

Syaifudin admitted that he had taken care of land certificates that had been included in the production forest area since 2001. Through an electronic certificate from this redistribution program, his 535 square meter yard land has legal certainty.

In the future, he hopes that his other land management can run smoothly, so that his other land can be certified.
